Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and have the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while producing quality welds.

Duties

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to complete tasks.
  • Operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts as needed.
  • Conduct assembly of components and ductwork according to project specifications.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge for rigging and lifting operations safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with rigging practices and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely.
  • Experience with machining processes and use of calipers for precise measurements.
  • Strong understanding of basic math concepts related to measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
