Position overview:
As a Surveillance Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring the Casino floor and various areas through a network of cameras and security systems to detect suspicious activities, ensure compliance with gaming regulations, and maintain a safe environment for all guests and employees.
Key responsibilities:
Operate and Monitor Surveillance cameras and systems to observe activities throughout the casino.
Detect and document irregular or suspicious behavior, including cheating, theft, and other violations.
Collaborate with security and other departments to respond to incidents as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed reports of surveillance footage and incidents.
Assist in monitoring gaming activities to ensure compliance with AGLC policies.
Communicate effectively with management and security teams to escalate issues and concerns.
Ensure the integrity and security of surveillance equipment and systems.
Adhere to all company and AGLC policies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a surveillance or security role preferred, especially in a casino or gaming environment.
Familiarity with CCTV systems, security equipment, and video monitoring software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot irregularities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
