Highcliffe Mechanical is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional dispatcher & administrator to join our team. This role is essential to daily operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable handling administrative and scheduling responsibilities. This is a maternity leave contract but could lead to full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails
  • Provide professional, friendly customer service
  • Schedule and organize daily job assignments for technicians
  • Make follow-up phone calls to clients regarding services, scheduling, and satisfaction
  • Document customer interactions, service details, and transactions accurately
  • Perform light bookkeeping duties, including recording payments and invoices
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Assist with general office administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a reception, dispatch, or administrative role preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic
  • Having a valid driver's license is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 14-16 months

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
