Introduction

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager to join a stable, well-established retail organization with a strong national footprint. This role offers consistency, structure, and long-term growth within a collaborative human resources environment. You will play a key role in supporting both corporate and retail hiring needs while building lasting relationships across teams, universities, and leadership groups.

This is an existing vacancy with immediate availability and is ideal for a recruitment professional who values organization, relationship-building, and dependable processes in a fast-moving but well-supported setting.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will support end-to-end recruitment initiatives with a focus on graduate hiring, corporate recruitment, and store-level staffing support. You will work closely with HR partners and hiring managers to ensure hiring plans are executed smoothly, consistently, and in alignment with long-term workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead graduate recruitment efforts and maintain strong partnerships with universities across Canada
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate and shared services roles
  • Support store-level hiring strategies and provide guidance to store leaders
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment planning for new store openings
  • Track hiring progress, follow up with new hires, and support analysis of retention and exit feedback
  • Maintain accurate reporting and ensure recruitment processes remain structured and compliant

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French, spoken and written, with French required for Quebec-based hiring
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically across Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools such as Workday
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Collaborative, relationship-focused approach with a steady and reliable work style

    $112,000 base salary and variable bonus
