Lounsbury Chevrolet Moncton
is looking for a
Body Shop Estimator.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience doing insurance adjustments or has worked as an appraiser.

This role requires a lot of interaction with customers, so we are seeking a polite, friendly, and well-mannered individual to represent our company and the Chevrolet brand.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Audatex or Mitchell Estimating Systems, with the capability to write a detailed automotive repair estimate
  • Greet customers in person and on the phone, offering assistance as needed and updating them on the status of repairs
  • Schedule appointments with customers
  • Open and close work orders and assist with final billing
  • Assist with parts ordering and receiving
  • Collect payment from customers and issue receipts
  • Assist in the daily shop production, including quality control of all vehicles being repaired
  • Inspect finished repairs/work before the vehicle is given back to customer

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional education in Automotive courses or certification will be an asset.
  • Experience in auto body experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive estimating
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Previous software experience in Audatex, Mitchell I-car training will be an asset.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Can effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
