Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Industrial Cleaner located throughout the GTA. The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for preparation of sites and post-work clean up, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across industrial workspaces.
Day-to-day tasks include debris removal, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, managing waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role requires adherence to company guidelines and effective collaboration with the team.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate cleaning tools such as vacuums, scrubbers, and pressure washers
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and proper cleaning methods
- Understanding of safety standards, environmental protocols, and industrial hygiene best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in industrial environments
- Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and frequently lifting/moving objects
- Experience in the construction or industrial fields is an asset
- Certification in WHMIS or other relevant safety training is preferred
