Position Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our growing finance team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting and bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, with the ability to adapt quickly and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of an 80/20-driven organization, the Accountant will play a key role in simplifying processes, focusing on high-impact activities, and supporting scalable financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly close process.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
  • Monitor and reconcile AP/AR transactions and aging reports.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Assist with vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes using 80/20 principles.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support implementation of new systems, tools, or procedures to enhance efficiency.
Required Education & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel with preferred proficiency using formulas, pivot tables, and advanced data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain financial information

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
