We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and customer-focused Coffee Shop Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands specialty coffee and café service, and can confidently manage staff, inventory, finances, and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health regulations.
  • Ensure smooth workflow behind the bar, kitchen, and front counter.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise baristas and support staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Create a positive and productive team culture with effective communication.

Customer Experience

  • Provide outstanding service and handle customer concerns professionally.
  • Maintain consistent product quality (espresso preparation, food handling, etc.).
  • Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community.

Inventory & Ordering

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for coffee, supplies, and ingredients.
  • Track usage, reduce waste, and ensure cost-efficient ordering.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and manage supplier relationships.

Financial Management

  • Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and deposits.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control to meet profit targets.
  • Analyze sales trends and make recommendations to improve performance.

Marketing & Growth

  • Support promotional activities, seasonal menu launches, and local events.
  • Collaborate on social media content, loyalty programs, and community engagement.
  • Maintain the shop's brand identity and ensure consistency across operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in cafe or hospitality management (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, cafe equipment, and food safety.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, sales reporting, and inventory systems.
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
