East Coast Dental Group (ECDG) is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our welcoming clinic team in Bouctouche. If you love helping people, thrive in a busy environment, and want a role where your initiative is noticed and valued, this could be your next great fit.

What You'll Do (Your Impact)

As the first friendly face and voice our patients connect with, you'll play a key role in shaping their experience. You will be accountable for:

  • Supporting patients with care and professionalism by addressing requests and needs clearly and kindly.
  • Handling concerns efficiently and helping ensure every patient leaves satisfied and supported.
  • Coordinating appointments end-to-end including booking, confirming, and reminder calls.
  • Creating a comfortable, welcoming front-desk experience that reflects our high standard of care.
  • Keeping patient records accurate and current in a secure and confidential manner.
  • Managing insurance and billing including collecting information, processing billings, and taking payments.
  • Maintaining patient care plans based on assessment details.
  • Looking for ways to improve workflows and recommending process improvements that help patients and the team.

What You Bring (Skills & Experience)

You'll be successful here if you genuinely care about people and enjoy working with a team. Your experience and qualifications include:

  • A proven history of positive, empathetic customer service with both patients and colleagues.
  • Patience, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement).
  • Medical assistant certification (considered an asset).
  • 2+ years of dental office experience (considered an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills and confidence managing multiple priorities.
  • Good judgment and calm decision-making in fast-changing situations.
  • A collaborative mindset—someone who enjoys supporting a clinical team.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (required).
