Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with food and drink selections.
  • Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff while ensuring all special requests are communicated effectively.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a server required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
  • Proficient in cashiering and handling transactions accurately.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to upsell menu items through effective communication and hospitality skills.
  • Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
  • A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding hospitality.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
