Position: Full Time, Material Coordinator

Shift: Shop work average of 10 hours per day

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and expedite flow of materials and parts according to production and project priorities and compile and maintain computerized records. Review schedules and coordinate with project managers and QC Personnel to determine material requirements and identify and track overdue materials
  • Requisition material and establish sequential delivery dates according to job order priorities and material availability
  • Verify product specification conformance
  • Monitor and control inventory

What do we require?

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to safely pull a trailer, including hauling and securing loads
  • Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office & Outlook)
  • Strong working knowledge of: Pipe, fittings, Bolt-up, and valves, material grades, ANSI standards & Heat Numbers
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage priorities
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
  • Physically Able to lift Minimal 50+lbs
  • Ability to Run a Skid steer and/or Telehandler
  • Willing after hours calls and prioritize demands
  • Reports to QC Coordinators and Shop Supervisors
  • Tickets Required: First Aid, CSO, H2S, Heavy Trailer Endorsement or ability to acquire one.
  • Pipefitting experience would be and asset
