**Opportunity Description**
This critical function adheres to all safety policies and works closely with Maintenance to ensure material availability and work order scheduling. They direct the order fulfilment priorities for kitting & staging based upon the Maintenance Coordinators work order schedule and advise if there are any shortages. The Material Coordinators manage, coordinate, and determine what materials should be repaired and when. These two roles will provide backup leadership and direction to the Warehouse Technicians. The role will identify opportunities for cost savings, key operating issues, and the resolution strategies. Collaborate with Operations and support functions to continuously improve processes, including: Planners, Maintenance, Reliability, HSE, Regulatory, Environmental, Operational Excellence, and Contracts & Procurement.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Repair Coordination**
- Responsible for the assessment of repair materials from Maintenance requirements
- Verification of mandatory critical information included in work order;
- Repair requirements
- Priority in line with Work Plan and Budget (WP&B)
- Recommended vendor
- Cost assignments
- Understanding of cost benefit analysis of repair requirement
- Maintain accuracy of repair item balances in various storage locations
- Creation & management of purchase requisitions and service entries of repairs
- Complete all repair material data entry into SAP
- Root Cause Analysis & corrective actions on variances
- Manage repair materials stored at 3rd party locations
- Ensure auditability of Repair processes
- Reporting, KPI management, & communication to Leadership on repair coordination

**Material Coordination**
- Responsible for the materials coordination from scheduled requirements
- Verification of mandatory scheduling information from maintenance/production meetings;
- Understanding of supply chain materials requirement planning logic
- Generate Kitting & Staging picklist and priorities for Warehouse team
- Manage Kitting & Staging dashboard material data
- Ensure auditability of Kitting & Staging processes
- Generate material status reporting weekly for Maintenance and Operations requirements
- Reporting, KPI management, & communication to Leadership on material coordination

**Detailed Daily Tasks**:

- Fill up daily FLHA
- Wear appropriate PPE in SCM managed areas & reinforce the rules
- Complete BBO cards as needed
- Report incidents & near misses
- Complete vehicle & equipment inspections
- Kitting & Staging prep, prints, delegation & report
- Attend T meetings & communicate with maintenance and planning
- Manage repairable material physically & in SAP
- Maintain communication with vendors & customers
- Manage repairable material reordering through MD16
- Follow up on WPA work orders
- Create WO for internal repairs
- Create PR for external repairs
- Repairable spares shipping & receiving
- Work with QA/QC and vendors on rejected repairable material
- Driving equipment & fleet
- Support maintenance during outages
- Manage tools repairs & recertification
- Manage project material reordering through

**Qualifications**:

- **Education Skills & Experience**
- 5-10 years of experience in Materials Management within a commercial/industrial setting;
- Familiar identifying various types of, Pumps, Valves, Pipes, Flanges, Weld Types, Fastener types, and miscellaneous industry common materials.
- Familiar with warehousing operations and various forms of preservation and storage methods
- Familiar with industry standards & bodies such as ABSA
- Cross functional experience with inventory management, inventory control, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; great attention to detail

**Experience**:

Licence/Certification:

- CSO or CSTS - 2020 (required)
- Class 5 Driver's License (required)
- Forklift, Telehandler or Zoom Boom ticket (required)
- H2S Alive (required)
