Title: Materials Manager

Reports to: President

**Responsibilities**:
The Materials Manager will oversee the planning and coordination of the company’s shipping and receiving, inventory control and purchasing departments. They are tasked with logistics, monitoring inventory levels, and inventory cost controls.
- Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials for the company's operations
- Oversee vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast and plan material needs
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels
- Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Continuously analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the supply chain
- Supervise, evaluate, and coach subordinates.
- Collaborates with office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.
- Other duties as assigned by the President

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma
- 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory Control
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors
- Proficient in utilizing MRP systems and other procurement software
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $60,632.24-$118,459.83 per year
