The Role

Mission Statement

To Deliver an exceptional and personalized member experience at every touchpoint – from greeting and guest services to administrative support and event coordination – ensuring COURTX operates smoothly and always feels welcoming, premium, and community-driven.

Expected Outcomes:

A Warm and Seamless Welcome for All Members and Guests

  • Create a positive, polished, and helpful first impression every time someone walks through the door.
  • Greet members and guests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Provide club tours to prospective members with clear, engaging information.
  • Check-in members and assist with booking courts, classes or events.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation for the front desk and lounge areas.

Efficient and Accurate Membership Administration

  • Support a smooth and consistent administrative process for current and prospective members.
  • Process new memberships, renewals, and changes using the club management system.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email or in-person promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date member records, billing information, and documentation.
  • Track and report on member engagement metrics and feedback.

Support for Club Operations & Pro Shop

  • Act as a dependable team player across departments – pitching in wherever needed to support daily operations.
  • Assist with retail sales in the pro shop, including transactions and restocking.
  • Handle towel service, locker assignments, and general amenities.
  • Support fitness and racquet events by helping with check-in, setup, and coordination.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of service across the club.

Outstanding Member Service and Problem Solving

  • Be a go-to resource for questions, feedback, and support
  • Help resolve minor member concerns or escalate as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with members about schedules, events, policies, and updates.
  • Provide feedback from guests to appropriate teams to improve the overall experience.
  • Anticipate member needs and take initiative to go above and beyond.

Ongoing Marketing & Brand Support

  • Support the marketing team by ensuring in-club promotional materials, signage, and displays are accurate, attractive, and up to date.
  • Share upcoming programs, events, and special offers with members in person and via prepared email templates.
  • Support social media posts and engagements as required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a premium, hospitality-focused environment such as: private clubs, luxury hotels, spas, boutique fitness studios or upscale retail.
  • Post-secondary education in recreation and leisure, business, or marketing preferred.
  • A passion for padel or pickleball (or both) is an asset.
  • Experience in high-touch administrative roles with member, guest, or client interaction.
  • Prior experience working at a front desk, concierge desk, or reception setting is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable with technology and working on computers.
  • A keen interest in playing or learning to play pickleball or paddle ball.
