Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinic Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medical and dental office procedures. This role involves managing administrative tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to provide exceptional patient care and efficient clinic management.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out processes
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate their daily activities to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain and update electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix and other EMR platforms
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing in accordance with healthcare standards
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and safety protocols
- Assist with human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor clinic budgets, supplies inventory, and procurement processes
- Collaborate with medical professionals to support clinical operations and patient care delivery
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and improve overall patient experience
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental management software; experience with electronic medical records systems is essential
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, billing, coding, and insurance procedures
- Previous experience in dental or medical office administration; hospital or acute care experience is a plus
- Supervisory experience managing administrative or clinical staff
- Familiarity with human resources practices including hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and oversee inventory control
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external partners
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws (such as HIPAA), and compliance standards
