Job Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with the Construction and Warranty team, and you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our Home Buying Customers. You will meet with homeowners, communicating progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will at all times meet the company's quality standards and ensure that the homeowner is pleased.
What you will do:
- Work closely with the Warranty Coordinator to ensure accuracy with appointments and aware of customer needs.
- Listen to clients needed, concerns and problem solve accordingly.
- Liaise with site staff and trade partners to ensure timely resolution of all warranty-related matters.
- Collaborate with clients to address construction questions, and concerns.
- Maintain detailed, accurate and organized documentation for all warranty changes, contracts, change orders, permits, etc.
- You will strive to ensure that warranty repairs are completed accurately, timely, and with a high degree of competence while maintaining a strong customer service representation throughout every touch point with each homeowner.
- Ensure adequate planning for necessary materials to ensure the competition of the work.
- Develop a constructive and helpful relationship with homeowners.
- Accompanying trades on service calls when required, document and complete the required work.
Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
- Carpentry or Skilled labor for 5+ Years, proficient with the use of a wide range of power tools and building techniques.
- Must have worked within the construction industry, (onsite experience) for 5+ years.
- Must be able to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of Alberta New Home Warranty and the Construction Performance Guide.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible approach to tasks.
