We're looking for an Outside Wholesaler to drive the acquisition of new life insurance, disability, and critical illness business by partnering with MGAs and their advisors. Showcase Canada Life's robust, reliable product solutions and help advisors deliver value to their clients.
What you will do
Provide expertise on life insurance, disability, and critical illness products and sales strategies.Leverage your understanding of tax and estate planning related to life and living benefits.Use your professional designations (CFP, CH.F.C., PFP and/or CLU) to create an excellent advisor experience.Apply creativity, discipline, and initiative to support advisors and grow business.What you will bring
7+ years of experience in the insurance industry.Post-secondary education, preferably in finance; or equivalent work experience.Strong leadership, sales, and relationship-building skills.Good knowledge of Canadian life insurance, disability, and critical illness products and sales strategies.General understanding of tax and estate planning principles related to life insurance and living benefit solutions.Financial services designations such as CFP, CH.F.C., PFP or CLU are considered an asset.Experience supporting advisors in a variety of business models including Managing General Agencies and National Accounts would be an asset.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to travel throughout an assigned region using your own means of transportation.-
The base salary for this position is between $84,900 - $141,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
