Channel Partner Account Manager (West)

The Channel Partner Account Manager - West is reporting to the Manager, B2B Sales, and is responsible for driving sales and business growth through strong partnerships with wholesale dealer partners. This role is accountable for achieving revenue targets, expanding Canon's market share, and ensuring dealer success in an evolving B2B landscape.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Dealer Business Growth: Owning quota and executing strategic account plans to hit revenue and sales targets.
  • Strategic Account Management: Building strong partnerships with dealer leadership to identify growth opportunities and track success.
  • Partner Enablement & Training: Equip dealer sales teams through impactful training, coaching, and product reviews.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a clear, accurate pipeline with timely forecasts to support business planning.
  • Program Execution: Implement Canon programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, and measure effectiveness.
  • Day-to-Day Dealer Support: Be the go-to partner for dealers, solving challenges, and keeping operations running smoothly.


Qualifications

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • A Minimum of 3 years of account management experience in a wholesale or channel environment.
  • Strong time management to balance product inquiries and sales requests
  • Analytical skills for forecasting and data tracking
  • Project Management abilities to navigate the sales cycle and follow up with dealer partners
  • Proficiency in Excel for data management and the ability to create and edit presentations in PowerPoint
  • Basic experience with Salesforce and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with Canon's Business and Commercial Products, and Solutions, such as Multi-Function Printers, Large Format Printers, and Print Solutions

  • This role is an outside face-to-face sales role. You will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, unless required to be at a customer's location.  Sales is expected to maximize their time at customer locations and the remaining time, you will be able to work from a home workspace.
