Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed
  • Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
  • Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
