Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Experience in hospitality or guest services will be advantageous.
