Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with various outdoor landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction-related activities, contributing to the creation and upkeep of beautiful outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, power tools, and hand tools
  • Perform irrigation system installation and repairs
  • Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, litter removal and mulching
  • Support construction projects related to outdoor structures or features
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities
  • Maintain cleanliness of work sites and properly store tools and equipment after use
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture practices
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and construction processes
  • Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of machinery and tools
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Prior experience in landscaping or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment or techniques as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$30.19 per hour
