The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with property management software. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a small business dedicated to maintaining high standards of property care and tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage and update property records using Excel, Quickbooks and other property management systems
- Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors to ensure timely resolution
- Handle tenant inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service
- Conduct data entry, filing, and document management related to lease agreements, rent payments, and inspections
- Assist in lease administration, including renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
- Support sales efforts by maintaining prospective tenant lists and follow-up communications
- Maintain accurate records of property inspections, repairs, and service history using CMMS systems
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, rent collections, and maintenance activities for management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations through diligent recordkeeping
Requirements
- Strong office experience with proficiency in data entry, filing, and administrative tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Background in office administration or property management is desirable
- Knowledge of property management practices including lease administration and maintenance coordination
- Skills in negotiation and customer relationship management to foster positive tenant interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with CMMS systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of our property portfolio while ensuring excellent service delivery to tenants and stakeholders. We value professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in our team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
