As a Sr Microsoft Presales Product Specialist, you will not only provide leadership and guidance to a team of Microsoft Product Presales Specialists but also take on additional responsibilities to ensure the strategic success and growth of Microsoft. Collaborating closely with the Microsoft Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, enhancing customer engagement, and strengthening the partnership with Microsoft. Your advanced expertise and leadership capabilities will be instrumental in shaping and executing high-impact strategies.
What You'll Do
- Team Development and Mentoring: Coach and mentor Microsoft Product Presales Specialists to enhance their skills, capabilities, and performance. Provide ongoing feedback, support, and guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Thought Leadership and Evangelism: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader through participation in events, Customer Immersion Experiences (CIEs), and thought leadership initiatives. Elevate the profile of Softchoice as a leading Microsoft partner.
- Tailored Product Strategies: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and sales teams, to tailor product strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer adoption of Microsoft Workplace solutions.
- Advanced Sales Support: Provide escalated Presales support to address complex customer inquiries, develop customized solutions, and overcome technical challenges, leveraging your deep understanding of Microsoft products.
- Strategic Partnership: Foster and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft, acting as a liaison to ensure alignment of strategies, access to resources, and support for sales initiatives.
- Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute strategic account plans for key SMC Accounts, identifying growth opportunities, addressing challenges, and driving long-term customer success.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Services to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Customer Success Advocacy: Customer-facing, advocate for the success of customers by ensuring their needs are understood, their challenges are addressed, and their expectations are met or exceeded throughout the sales lifecycle.
What You'll Bring To The Table
- A deep understanding of Microsoft 365 with strong technical proficiency.
- 5-7+ years of technology-related sales or product consulting role (Microsoft products required).
- Microsoft Certifications in the following: MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, SC-900: Security, Compliance & Identity Fundaments, SC-400: Administering Information Protection and Compliance in Microsoft 365, AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals, MS 500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration, AZ-900: Azure Fundamental, and PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a track record of effectively managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives, drive organizational change, and achieve measurable business results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Consultative Selling Skills: Proven ability to engage in consultative selling, understanding customer pain points, and positioning Microsoft products as solutions to those challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology, industry trends, and product updates, ensuring continued relevance and expertise in Microsoft solutions.
- Presentation and communication skills: Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking & execution: Ability to develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute plans and build strong relationships.
- Bilingual preferred (French & English)
