Heavy Equipment Operator

We currently accepting resumes for Equipment Operators/Truck Drivers for new opportunities in the upcoming summer construction season. The ideal candidates will have experience in operating various types of heavy equipment and will be responsible for performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. The roles will be essential for ensuring the smooth operation of remedial work at remote locations, including demolition digging/leveling to grade with loader, excavator, dozer, grader, or tandem dump truck/end dump. All positions are rotational at fly in-fly out worksites. Travel is provided from the nearest commercially serviced point of entry.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute project tasks efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in site preparation activities, including digging trenches and grading land.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
Requirements
Previous experience (+2yrs) operating heavy equipment at a northern mine site is preferable.
Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A valid driver's license is required Class1/3; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: 7-8 months
Pay: Up to $425.00 per day
Work Location: In person
