Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction, and maintenance, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various Residential and Commercial projects. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency.
**Ideal Candidate would also be a licensed gas fitter.**
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with project specifications and building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Perform maintenance tasks on HVAC systems as needed to support plumbing operations
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and record-keeping purposes
- Follow schematics and technical instructions for assembly and installation processes
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems
- Proficiency in HVAC, maintenance, carpentry, welding, and construction practices
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to plumbing work environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings

Pay: $32.43-$52.44 per hour
