We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining sanitation standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guests' dining experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all food handling practices comply with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation guidelines.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
