Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is must.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
