Servers / Front of House Team

The role of the servers and Front of House Team are to make sure that everyone feels looked after and taken care of. This includes getting the orders of our guests, making sure they have any condiments that they require to enjoy their meal, and doing table checks to make sure everyone is having a good time. Our servers are our front line and are instrumental in ensuring optimal guest experiences.

Probation Period

At the Halibut House, we want to make sure that we are the right fit for you and you are the right fit for us. Within the first three (3) months, you are in a probation period. The probation period allows you as a team Member or us at the Halibut House to terminate the employment relationship at any time during the probation period, without advanced notice or justifiable reason with oral or written notice. After this probation period, it is the responsibility of the team Member and the Halibut House to provide two (2) weeks' notice, written and oral communication to terminate the employment relationship.

Pay

You will receive a cheque on a bi-weekly basis for the two week period worked. You will also receive your pay statement on a bi-weekly basis, providing information regarding your earnings and deductions for the same period. While managers will do their best in managing payroll; it is your responsibility to check and ensure that you have been properly compensated for your work. Should there be any discrepancies please contact your manager immediately. Pay rates are to be discussed and agreed upon between managers and staff members in orientation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
