Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join the Turtle Jacks Oakville team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest service, and a solid background in food service and restaurant management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years experience in the restaurant industry is required. The Front of House Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, hospitality, and team management.

Duties

  • Report directly to the General Manager
  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations
  • Oversee food preparation, serving, and customer service to deliver an exceptional guest experience
  • Manage POS systems like Maitre D for order processing and cash handling
  • Hold all FOH and BOH team members accountable for cleaning & closing duties
  • Ensure food safety standards are maintained across all front-of-house activities
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Assist with food handling procedures and ensure proper food industry protocols are followed
  • Support kitchen staff with food preparation and coordination when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations
  • Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and teamwork to foster a positive work environment

Experience

  • Proven 2 year supervising experience within the restaurant industry
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices is a plus
  • Experience operating POS systems such as Maitre D or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with team management and training capabilities
  • Background in restaurant management or hospitality roles preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and customer service excellence is essential

Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Start date ASAP.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
