Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join the Turtle Jacks Oakville team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional guest service, and a solid background in food service and restaurant management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years experience in the restaurant industry is required. The Front of House Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, hospitality, and team management.
Duties
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- Oversee food preparation, serving, and customer service to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Manage POS systems like Maitre D for order processing and cash handling
- Hold all FOH and BOH team members accountable for cleaning & closing duties
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained across all front-of-house activities
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Assist with food handling procedures and ensure proper food industry protocols are followed
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation and coordination when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations
- Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and teamwork to foster a positive work environment
Experience
- Proven 2 year supervising experience within the restaurant industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices is a plus
- Experience operating POS systems such as Maitre D or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills with team management and training capabilities
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality roles preferred
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and customer service excellence is essential
Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Start date ASAP.
