Sage Sky Productions is a creative production company specializing in visual storytelling and branded content. We film in residential and commercial settings, producing polished, approachable media for use across digital platforms.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Primary Recorder to capture high-quality video and photo content during scheduled on-site filming sessions. This role requires bringing and operating your own equipment, managing footage, and collaborating with our content team to execute planned concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend scheduled on-site shoots at multiple local building locations
  • Capture high-quality video and photo content based on shot lists and creative direction
  • Ensure proper lighting, audio, composition, and technical settings
  • Transfer and organize raw footage into shared files after each session
  • Maintain a professional presence in residential or office environments while filming
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shoot flow

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in videography and/or photography (portfolio, reel, or examples required)
  • Personal access to reliable professional equipment (camera body, lenses, stabilization gear, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of composition, natural and indoor lighting, and filming for social media formats
  • Ability to remain organized, punctual, and communicative

Preferred Qualities:

  • Comfortable directing simple on-camera actions when needed
  • Friendly, calm, and dependable in fast-paced shoot environments
  • Takes direction well and collaborates smoothly with others

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
