Located in Hamilton, Ontario, we are looking for a _**Social Media Coordinator **_that iscreative, innovative and a skilled social media professional that will create and maintain a strong online presence to join our Marketing team. The Social Media Coordinator applies knowledge and experience of audience motivation, social media best practice, trends, and video to develop a unique and effective social media strategy that is executed across various channels to grow both engagement and the business. Day to day includes content creation, bringing new ideas to the social media program, maintaining and building positive relationships with industry influencers, bloggers and internal staff contributors.

**A day in the life of as a Social Media Coordinator at Mabel's Labels includes**:
- Under the guidance of the PR & Partnership Manager, take strategic direction to develop vision for social channels and execute on that strategy, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn and other emerging social platforms.
- Create and lead the social media marketing calendar that includes daily, weekly and monthly content across all platforms.
- Create concepts for film and edit regular video content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok channels, effective for the respective platforms, on trend, in step with brand voice and in support of engagement goals.
- Collaborate with internal videographer to position and promote and effective YouTube strategy
- Collaborate with the creative team to create social media graphics while adhering to the Mabel’s Labels brand guidelines.
- Write original engaging content with a strong brand voice and excellent attention to proofing and detail for all social channels.
- Contribute creative ideas on how to leverage social media to optimize and achieve Mabel’s Labels’ business, revenue and communications objectives.
- Plan and deploy revenue-generating social media marketing strategies for product launches, as well as seasonal campaigns and various giveaways and promotions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create social content for PR initiatives, brand partnerships, blog content, fundraising program, customer experience, product and promotions taking clear direction on strategy from PR & Partnerships Manager.
- Serve as a responsible online keeper of Mabel’s Labels’ brand reputation.
- Monitor online and social conversations about the brand, seek opportunities to create external engagement and provide prompt response to inquiries through social channels.
- Proactively engage with partner, influencer, and fan social media content.
- On occasion, attend events to capture images and video and create content.
- Work with team to plan and deploy annual social media campaigns (i.e. “Label Day Weekend”)
- Measure and manage analytics, reporting and dashboards to maximize the social and online experience for all audiences.
- Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness. This could involve attending webinars, training conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications or a related field
- Relevant experience in a social media marketing role
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Strong knowledge of and interest in e-commerce marketing
- Proven ability to film, edit and produce video for a variety of social media channels
- Basic knowledge of graphic design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to understand and analyze marketing decisions
- Knowledge of marketing forecasting, analytics and metrics
- Highly collaborative working style with a strong interest in working closely
