My Legal Basement is a fast-growing renovation and construction company specializing in legal basement conversions across the GTA. We create modern, functional, and fully compliant rental suites for homeowners looking to maximize their property value and generate additional income.

We're growing quickly and are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Photographer/Videographer to help capture our transformation projects, client stories, and marketing content.

Job Description

As a Photographer/Videographer at My Legal Basement, you will be responsible for producing high-quality photo and video content that showcases our basement renovations, construction process, team culture, and finished suites. Your work will be featured on our website, social media channels, and digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Capture before-and-after photos and videos of renovation projects
  • Film and produce walkthrough videos of completed basement units
  • Take high-quality on-site photography during construction phases
  • Create short-form videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Edit photos and videos for brand consistency and marketing needs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan content
  • Maintain and organize digital media assets
  • Travel to multiple job sites across the GTA

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a photographer and videographer
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real estate, construction, or interior photography (preferred)
  • Proficient in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Access to professional camera equipment and lighting
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for composition
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Drone photography/videography certification
  • Familiarity with real estate staging, lighting techniques, and storytelling
