About the roles

The Broker Resources team is responsible for the Onboarding of Agents within the Invis and MI Brokerage. The Team provides services to all Invis and MI Agents across Canada. The goal is always to give the Agent good Onboarding experience while adhering to legislative requirements and our Company's business rules. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, confident in managing sensitive financial information, and comfortable navigating multiple systems to ensure efficient, accurate collections management.

The duties

  • Onboarding of Agents/Brokers for all provinces within Canada. This will include but not limited to:

  • Background checks, assessing educational requirements for licensing,

  • Obtaining licenses

  • Agent/ Broker Contract generation, review and implementation

  • Accurate and timely broker setups

  • Assist with the offboarding of Agents/Brokers for all provinces within Canada.

  • Coordiante with Payroll Department for AR collections
  • Coordinate with Third party providers to arrange for Codes/Tools for New Agents/Brokers
  • Keeping up to date on licensing developments, communicating important information to agents, ensuring that all requisite licenses are maintained and renewed, avoiding disruption of services and maintaining good standing with the Regulators
  • Being the support contact for broker issues and deal with escalation issues relating to Expert, BOSS, Equifax issues
  • Work closely with Regional Managers
  • Foster and develop positive relationships with brokers, sales team and senior management.
  • Help at company/industry events as representative of the company
  • Being the principal liaison between internal and external stakeholders in a multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Assist the operational units with other relevant tasks as needed.

The must haves:

  • College education in a related discipline
  • 2 – 5 years' experience in an office environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal qualities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • General knowledge of contract and employment law
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Tech savvy
  • Excellent record keeping and problem-solving skills
  • Continuous process and service improvement
