A large manufacturing company in Surrey is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers? Join our dynamic finance team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper approval processes are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and monitor payment schedules.
  • Assist in month-end closing and report generation and year-end audits by providing the necessary reports and documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Verify accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and contracts.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong asset).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Protect the organization value by keeping information confidential
