What you'll do
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu standards and recipes
- Assist in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for seasonal offerings
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing your culinary talents
- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation of meals.
- Wok cooking experience is a plus, especially in Asian-style cuisine or high-heat cooking environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
