Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all food handling and safety regulations
  • Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Support the team during busy hours by assisting with serving guests when needed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on serving guests promptly and courteously
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for quality, safety, and hygiene

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
