Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Taste Of Egypt. Located in Saint John. NB, Canada, this role is vital in ensuring that our menu items are prepared to perfection, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
