We are a growing technology company with a dedicated team of engineers, production technologists, electricians, and installers who work on innovative solutions to protect buildings from damage and ensure their longevity and durability.

Our technology is used to protect hospitals, shopping centers, museums, government facilities, residential buildings etc. We operate across Canada and are expanding into the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized
Marketing Coordinator
to support our Communications Manager and play a pivotal role in engaging with the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) community. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and executing impactful
Lunch and Learn
presentations that showcase our cutting-edge construction technology solutions to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Presentation Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling and informative presentation materials tailored to different audiences.
  • Define clear presentation objectives and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate all logistical details for
    Lunch and Learn
    sessions, including venue selection, catering, and technology setup.
  • Work with company representatives to ensure presentations are effectively delivered; future opportunities to present independently may arise based on experience and public speaking skills.

Business Development & Outreach

  • Develop and implement efficient outreach funnels to generate and schedule
    Lunch and Learn
    opportunities and client meetings.
  • Manage the booking and coordination of 100+
    Lunch and Learns
    annually (within and outside British Columbia).
  • Identify new opportunities for brand exposure and partnerships within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) community.
  • Support the Communications Manager in developing and executing marketing campaigns, including defining direction, goals, and target audiences.
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure current, engaging, and accurate information that supports outreach efforts.

Event Execution & Follow-Up

  • Oversee the execution of
    Lunch and Learn
    events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for attendees.
  • Facilitate engagement and interaction between company representatives and participants.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to assess the effectiveness of presentations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement structured follow-up strategies to maintain relationships and support client engagement after events.
  • Utilize email automation and SMT tools to streamline outreach, follow-ups, and reporting.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns that promote SMT's technology, achievements, and industry presence.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity, voice, and tone across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • Create and schedule posts that highlight projects, company milestones, and educational content relevant to the AEC community.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement rate, audience growth, click-throughs) and provide insights to refine future strategies.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and build relationships with industry professionals and organizations.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Graphic Design

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, engineering) to improve the quality and consistency of marketing and technical documentation.
  • Design and update visual materials such as proposals, typical details, and shop drawings for SMT products and systems.
  • Develop professional and visually engaging marketing materials for print, web, and email campaigns.
  • Create branded visual content, including graphics, infographics, and layouts for both internal and external communications.
  • Support educational and brand awareness initiatives through high-quality visual media and presentation design.
  • Contribute to website visuals and ensure alignment between digital and print design standards.

Education and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing coordination, communications, or design—ideally within the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
  • Experience coordinating events, presentations, or client outreach programs (e.g.,trade shows, webinars).
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent design software.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills—able to manage multiple deadlines, schedules, and event logistics simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a professional and engaging presentation style.
  • Basic knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to support events or client presentations.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous marketing, social media, or design work is strongly encouraged.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
