Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to foster meaningful connections within our community. This role involves developing and implementing outreach initiatives, building partnerships, and promoting our organization's mission through effective communication and strategic engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent public speaking abilities, and experience in project management to drive community programs forward. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute community outreach strategies to increase awareness and participation
  • Organize and lead community events, workshops, and informational sessions
  • Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders
  • Manage data collection efforts to evaluate program effectiveness and inform future initiatives
  • Supervise volunteers or team members involved in outreach activities
  • Coordinate marketing efforts across various platforms to promote programs and events
  • Oversee recruiting efforts for community volunteers or participants
  • Provide educational sessions or teaching to diverse audiences on relevant topics
  • Manage administrative tasks related to program planning, reporting, and documentation
  • Lead public speaking engagements to represent the organization at community meetings and events

Experience

  • Supervising experience in community programs or organizational settings
  • Proven ability in public speaking and presentation delivery
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful program implementation
  • Experience in marketing, social media promotion, or outreach campaigns
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and volunteers
  • Data collection and analysis experience to assess program impact
  • Administrative experience including scheduling, reporting, and record keeping
  • Recruiting experience for volunteer or participant engagement initiatives
  • Teaching or training experience preferred but not required

This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about community development and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Community Engagement Specialist will play a vital role in strengthening our organization's presence and fostering positive relationships within the community.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $4,700.00-$8,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
