Calgary, Alberta, Canada Hire Value Inc. Full time

You're not afraid of the blank page. You write the story.

Some people like to be handed a client list.

You prefer to build one.

At
Hire Value
, we're not looking for a "sales rep." We're looking for someone who sees opportunity where others see empty space — the kind of business developer who gets energized by the hunt, who can walk into a conversation with a CHRO, CFO, or CEO and make them
feel
the difference between transactional recruiting and data-driven talent intelligence.

You'll help organizations across every major industry see how smarter recruitment marketing, employer branding, and AI-driven insights don't just fill roles — they build reputations, improve retention, and save millions in cost-of-vacancy.

What makes this opportunity different

Hire Value is leading the next evolution of recruitment marketing through our Talent Acquisition Intelligence Platform (TAIP) — one of the only true AI solutions that meets the highest global standards of compliance, ethics, and transparency.

TAIP moves beyond the outdated 'post & pray' way of hiring by leveraging AI-driven sector analysis, employer brand benchmarking, and CRM-style candidate database utilization — giving organizations, for the first time, a complete line of sight into where and how their best hires originate.

It's responsible AI with purpose: clarity, compliance, and measurable ROI.

What you'll actually do

  • Spot opportunity where others miss it — and chase it down.
  • Build real relationships with TA, HR, Marketing, and Operations leaders.
  • Turn warm leads into loyal partners (and find new ones too).
  • Ask the kind of discovery questions that make clients stop and think.
  • Build proposals that solve real-world hiring problems — not cookie-cutter decks.
  • Confidently pitch, present, and close deals that create measurable impact.
  • Bring market intelligence and insight back to our internal team to help shape what comes next.

Experience that sets you up for success

We're looking for someone who knows what it means to sell complex, consultative solutions into large organizations — not transactional products, but strategic partnerships.

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, account management, or enterprise sales.
  • Experience in industries that sell into HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, or Marketing, with buying decisions that ultimately support strategic Business Operations.
  • Proven ability to manage sales cycles of 3 months and upto 12 months with multiple stakeholder groups such as IT, Marketing, HR and Operations;
  • Having an expert understanding of the corporate budget proves and proven success in solving for the cost centre (HR & Marketing) whose budgets are always under scrutiny.
  • Disciplined use of CRM systems and modern sales tools to track, forecast, and analyze opportunities.
  • Expert at reading the room as you need to pick up on nuances of what is being said and what they didn't say. Equally confident in the boardroom or over Zoom.
  • A curiosity for how organizations grow through people, and a desire to bring intelligent, transparent solutions to life.

Who you probably are

  • You're a confident communicator — consultative, curious, and credible.
  • You're fluent in ROI, but you care about relationships.
  • You can move between conversations with HR, Marketing, and Procurement without losing your footing.
  • You know how to navigate complex buying cycles and multiple decision-makers.
  • You're more interested in
    why
     clients buy than
    what
     they buy.
  • You believe in integrity — you'd rather walk away from a bad fit than discount your value.
  • You're energized by innovation and drawn to work that has a measurable, meaningful impact.

Why Hire Value

We're a Canadian recruitment marketing and employer brand consultancy serving clients across every major industry sector — by design.

We believe the challenges in hiring are universal, and the solutions must be too.

You'll work directly with senior leaders who believe in transparency, laughter, and the power of intelligent conversations.

This is your chance to help shape how organizations across Canada and the U.S. hire better — and be part of a team that's bringing responsible AI and real talent intelligence to life through TAIP.

The exact amount offered for base salary will depend on your skills, experience level, and work location. On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this opportunity are 2x base salary expectations.

Base salary is $64,000 plus commission
