Candidate Areas of Interest: Multi-family residential focued sales, partnerships, customer success, telecommunications, and technology.

Moby is an independent fibre optic telecommunications provider delivering high-speed Internet, TV, and Home Phone services, with a strong focus in Alberta and the potential to support nationally. We are not a reseller of incumbent carriers - we design, deploy, and operate our own fibre optic infrastructure.

Finally, an alternative.

We are an entrepreneurial company looking for people who enjoy building relationships, creating momentum, and helping partners succeed, while working for a true industry disruptor.

About the Role

As our Residential Partner Success Specialist, you are the engine behind Moby's Residential growth. You take early wins in multi-family buildings and turn them into a repeatable, predictable, scalable pipeline. You don't wait for an opportunity, you create it.

You're a hunter and a relationship owner—confident, persistent, and comfortable driving direct conversations that move partners to action. You know how to build trust fast, keep momentum high, and turn relationships into measurable adoption and growth.

You'll own relationships, drive adoption, and spot expansion potential before anyone else does. Your mission? Move buildings from "nice idea" to must-have partner and set them up for big opportunities down the line.

This role sits at the intersection of sales development, account management, enablement, and customer success. You'll work side-by-side with your team and cross-functional teams to keep buildings engaged, energized, and moving forward fast.

The role requires regular onsite visits to buildings and partners, as well as occasional time in our Calgary HQ and regular local travel to partner sites. You're out in the field where the action is.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll build and drive a high-velocity pipeline of multi-family residential opportunities by owning outbound outreach, booking and qualifying meetings with partners and turning early building wins into scalable growth. You'll be the day-to-day relationship owner for assigned buildings, working directly with site managers, leasing teams, and ownership groups to drive adoption through onsite activations, campaigns, and enablement.

You'll spot objections before they slow momentum. You'll sharpen our messaging and process to remove friction, and keep your customer relationship management (CRM) and reporting tight to turn insight into action. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Support, and Marketing, you'll align priorities, remove blockers, and make sure every building you touch keeps moving toward bigger, bolder opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

  • Outbound activity targets met weekly (calls/emails/onsite touches) with conversion tracked.
  • Equip, educate, and support leasing and property teams so they actively champion Moby and drive adoption from the inside out.
  • Meeting-to-opportunity conversion rate and time-to-next-step consistently improving.
  • Building adoption targets achieved through onsite activations and partner commitments.
  • Expansion pipeline created within 30 days of initial building launch (portfolio introductions, referrals).
  • Consistent multi-dwelling unit (MDU) building pipeline creation (meetings booked and opportunities generated).
  • Measurable adoption and penetration growth across assigned buildings over time.
  • More buildings progressing to an expansion-ready status.
  • Maintain clean, actionable CRM and reporting that supports decision-making.
  • Actively promoting and selling Moby services to building tenants.

Who You Are (Key Characteristics)

  • Approachable and polished; able to adapt your communication style and "read the room."
  • Strong rapport builder with onsite teams and ownership stakeholders.
  • Empathetic, patient, and genuinely helpful.

Clear Communicator & Connector

  • Confident speaking with leasing teams, site managers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong active listener who can translate feedback into clear next steps.

Assertive, Persistent, and Relationship-Driven

  • Comfortable driving direct conversations, asking for commitments, and handling objections in real time.
  • Strong follow-up discipline—you keep relationships warm while holding partners accountable to timelines.
  • Skilled at building trust quickly with onsite teams and decision-makers.

Market-Aware & Curious

  • Familiar with MDU market health (vacancy rates, turnover cycles, building trends).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort running outreach campaigns (email, phone, onsite visits| In-person and virtually).
