Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Network Technical Specialist 3 to be based on-site at our Calgary, AB location. In this role, you will oversee network administration, provide technical support to resolve complex issues, and troubleshoot network-related problems. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures, ensuring optimized performance, and assisting with improvements to network systems. Candidates will also be involved in managing network security to safeguard against vulnerabilities and threats while collaborating with team members to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Design
  • Strong skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues effectively
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Network Security methodologies to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
  • Ability to design and implement scalable network architectures aligning with organizational needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are considered an asset
  • Experience with enterprise-grade IT systems or working as part of an IT team is a plus
