We are looking for a Logistics Manager  to join our Logistics team Our Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the cycle of order fulfilment and the order process.

You will play a key role in optimizing the Logistics teams performance, whilst supervising, mentoring and growing the logistics workforce.

Experience

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience working in transportation, logistics or a related field within a supervisory or management capacity

  • You have a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains
  • Experience working in logistics in a food environment
  • Experience implementing a TMS system

things you will do...

  • Oversee all transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating domestic and international shipments.
  • Manage relationships, negotiate tariffs, and select carriers and 3PL partners.
  • Develop and execute 3PL and transportation strategies in collaboration with senior supply chain leadership.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for customs, imports/exports, and daily shipping activity.
  • Monitor shipment status, delivery performance, and compliance with service-level expectations.
  • Evaluate and approve freight rates, invoices, and related costs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain logistics KPIs, analyze transportation data, and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams—including order management, project management, and installation—to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Resolve transportation, customer, and carrier issues promptly.
  • Supervise and train logistics staff to meet accuracy, productivity, and timeliness goals.
  • Maintain customer records and reconcile carrier-related deductions or refunds.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

OTHER ...

  • You might need to work outside regular business hours when required
  • Valid BC Driver's License and vehicle

Salary - $85,000 - $105,000
