The Company

PearTree is the innovator of the flow-through share donation financing structure which unites the

Canadian resource and charitable sectors. PearTree works with Canadian Resource Exploration

Companies to arrange and close structured Flow Through Donation Financings, while at the same time

helping major gift donors reduce their after-tax cost so they can give more to their favourite

Canadian causes.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director of Client Services, the candidate will play a critical role in

the firm ensuring an outstanding client experience both before, during and after their

participation in a flow through share donation financing or other structured product offering. This

involves serving as the key point of contact for clients, their advisors and their charities.

Within PearTree's dynamic and deal-driven environment, this position requires the ability to be

nimble, resilient and responsive.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


•  Manage the process associated with onboarding new personal and corporate clients including

assisting them with the completion of account opening and KYC documentation and ensuring

appropriate communications to colleagues in other departments.


•  Act as primary client liaison for donation or other structured product financings with respect

to completion and receipt of documentation, funds transfer and confirmation of deal closing


•  Attend to any client or advisor post-close queries including request for tax-related or other

client specific documentation


•  Manage onboarding of clients and dissemination of documents through PearTree client portal and

attend to technical support queries


•  Maintain up-to-date client records in PearTree's CRM


•  Troubleshoot with compliance team members on client trades as may be required.


•  Liaise with PearTree's back-office in overseeing the dissemination of client trade

confirmations, account statements and compensation reports.


•  Recommend client service changes and enhancements to Managing Director

EDUCATION LEVEL


• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration, or Finance major

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE


•  Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSS) or Exempt Market Product (EMP)

course


•  French fluency preferable


•  5+ years of experience in a related role in the Financial Services sector with emphasis on

exempt market products and private placements


•  Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance framework surrounding exempt markets in Canada

including National Instrument accredited investor exemptions


•  Knowledge of flow through shares an asset


•  Experience managing client expectations and delivery of white glove service


•  Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build rapport

easily with ultra high net worth clients and their advisors


• Thrives in deal-driven and time-pressured environment


•  Works fluidly in a team environment


•  Excellent PC knowledge including MS Office Business product suite and ability to learn and

manage web-based database systems as it relates to client information


•  Experience with Salesforce including client portal solutions would be an asset
