As a Building Manager, you will play a key role in fostering positive tenant relationships, overseeing daily building operations, and ensuring the overall performance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of residential properties, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance, working closely with vendors, contractors, and internal maintenance staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of leases, rent payments, inspections, and maintenance activities
  • Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) for data entry, reporting, and operational analysis
  • Market and advertise available units using a variety of channels
  • Conduct tenant screenings, including background and reference checks
  • Prepare and negotiate lease agreements while ensuring adherence to lease terms
  • Support budgeting processes and assist with financial reporting for the properties under management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential property management or a closely related field
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is an asset
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
