- Report directly to BA/PO in the Digital Technology Group.
- Support development of a new product/application scheduled to go live in Nov 2026.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Use Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow management.
- Leverage GenAI tools to increase productivity and optimize processes.
- Communicate effectively with developers and discuss technical concepts.
- Participate in two interview rounds (Amelia + another BA), with second round in person.
Must Haves
- 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst (Intermediate/Senior level).
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to work with stakeholders and developers, bridging business and technical discussions.
- Exposure to Capital Markets or banking.
- Comfortable working onsite in Halifax 4 days/week.
Plusses
- Experience with AI tools (internal tools, Copilot) for productivity and workflow automation.
- Ability to create workflows and leverage AI for efficiency.
- Familiarity with Asana.
- Previous experience in digital product development environments.
