Operational Controls Testing Analyst (Hybrid – Toronto)
CMA, a boutique consultancy and staffing firm specializing in financial services, is seeking an experienced Operational Controls Testing Analyst for a global investment firm. The role supports a large-scale operational controls testing program across capital markets and financial processing functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute operational control testing and determine pass/fail outcomes
- Learn and apply control testing handbooks
- Document testing methodologies and results
- Partner with Operational Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams
- Identify, track, and support remediation of control gaps
- Report on control effectiveness, operational risk, and resiliency
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Brokerage/Securities Processing or Capital Markets
- Strong background in operational controls testing
- Experience with trade lifecycle controls, loan issuance, and financial processing
- Knowledge of Operational Risk, Process & Control Analysis, and Regulatory frameworks
- Financial services industry experience required
- Must reside in Canada (Toronto area)
Additional Details
- Reports to the Director of Operational Risk
- Hybrid role; in-office presence (3–5 days) required during the first two weeks for training
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $50.00 per hour
