Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong residential HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance background with a minimum of 4 years of related trades experience, and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential settings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Build, weld, and plumb components as necessary for system installations or repairs.
  • Conduct appliance repairs related to HVAC systems and other associated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
  • Ability to build, weld, and plumb components as needed for installations or repairs.
  • Experience with boiler systems is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • As part of our ongoing education and commitment to apprenticeships in the trades you will be required to mentor apprentices, so a sharing and teaching mindset is required.

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
