Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our automotive dealership team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with vehicle inquiries, and supporting sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for automobiles, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Experience in dealership operations, mechanical knowledge, and sales are highly valued to ensure a seamless customer experience and promote our services effectively.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their automotive needs
  • Answer inquiries regarding vehicle features, pricing, and services
  • Support the sales team by upselling additional products or services when appropriate
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure customer vehicles are serviced promptly
  • Provide information on automotive repairs, maintenance options, and mechanical features
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Assist in promoting dealership promotions and special offers to enhance sales opportunities

Experience

  • Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience with automotive repair is a plus, aiding in customer consultations
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Sales experience, including upselling techniques, is advantageous
  • Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy in financial transactions
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
