The Order Entry Specialist facilitates data entry of customer orders and new items received from the Customer Service Representatives to prepare them for the production queue. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about customer service and has order entry experience in a high volume B2B environment.

Job Details

  • Hourly Rate: $20–$23 CAD (based on experience)
  • Location: Leamington, Ontario
  • Day Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between Customer Service and external suppliers for file development and changes.
  • Process customer purchase orders into GlobeTek or Shopping Cart
  • Takes personal responsibility for their work, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Effectively communicates and takes swift action to consistently exceed expectations to ensure accessibility to information and assistance in resolution of issues.
  • Committed to expanding their knowledge of MCC's products, services, and solutions.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

  • This position requires high level computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, OneNote)
  • Excellent knowledge of MCC computer applications (GlobeTek, OBI)
  • Ability to handle deadlines in a fast pace, stressful environment.
  • This position requires the incumbent to regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills involving active listening.
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize, in a complex multitask environment
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Comply with BRC work instructions
  • Proven track record in customer service area helpful
  • Adherence to deadlines which may involve the occasional overtime
